Led by owner CAHS, she creates thoughtful, editorial photography for hotels, restaurants and destinations, capturing not only the rooms themselves, but the details, rituals and atmosphere that give a place its character.
From the turn of a bed linen and a beautifully set breakfast table to an old staircase, a garden at dusk or the glow of a bar in the evening, the aim is to create imagery that feels lived-in, transportive and distinctly of its place.
A Story Told in Details
With a background spanning interiors, antiques, brand storytelling and photography, MDC approaches hospitality through the eye of both a designer and a storyteller.
MDC is particularly drawn to properties with a strong sense of place: historic architecture, expressive interiors, craftsmanship, gardens, food and the small details that make a guest experience memorable.
The result is a collection of images designed to work together as a visual story while remaining useful individually across a property's digital channels.

Maison de Carolyn is a multidisciplinary creative studio working across photography, interiors, visual storytelling and art.
Maison de Carolyn is a creative studio devoted to places with a story to tell. Drawing on a background in interior design, brand storytelling and a year spent working as an antiques curator in the South of France, I photograph hospitality through the details that give it soul: the patina of a room, a beautifully laid table, the rhythm of service and the gestures that make a guest feel welcome.
Long before hospitality became part of my creative practice, I dreamed of opening a restaurant. That early fascination with gathering, atmosphere and the pleasures of the table still shapes the way I see a hotel, not simply as a collection of rooms, but as a living world of design, food, gardens, craft and human connection.
I love getting my hands into creative adventures of every kind, from making pasta to arranging a table or following the story behind an antique. Fluent in French and a frequent flyer based in the American South, I bring warmth, curiosity and an editorial eye to every collaboration.
I work with an eye toward the craftsmanship, history and human details that give a place its soul.
The most memorable luxury is the kind that feels personal.
