Who is this process ideal for? Businesses or individuals ready to bring their work to life online with beauty and clarity. During our consultation, we’ll discuss your branding and website goals in detail.
How long is the process? To set the timeline, we’ll review calendars together to align with your project goals. A typical 5-page website (Home, About, Services, Gallery, Contact) generally takes 6–8 weeks to reach the first review stage, once discovery questions are complete and all content and photos have been provided. If we’re also developing branding or a new logo, the timeline may shift slightly to allow space for that creative process.

Following our first conversation, I’ll craft a tailored set of discovery questions to illuminate your brand’s story, audience, and vision. This discovery phase also informs the site’s structure and pages, from which your proposal is thoughtfully prepared.

With the foundation in place following Phase I, it’s time to bring your vision to life!
Phase II: Proposal & Deposit
After the foundation is laid and the proposal is signed and agreed, a deposit will be requested to kick off the project design. This step secures your place in the schedule and marks the beginning of the creative journey.
Phase III: Creative Development
Here is where your website begins to take shape. Guided by the strategy established in Phase I, we craft your visual identity online — typography, color palette, imagery, and overall aesthetic. This phase merges design with function, ensuring every element is purposeful and aligned with your brand.
If photography is included, this is the phase when images are captured, curated, and professionally edited. For clients including branding or logo development, these elements are refined in tandem, so the digital home reflects your full creative vision.
Phase IV: Review Initial Designs
Once initial designs are prepared, we schedule a thoughtful review session. This is your opportunity to experience the site as it begins to breathe, providing feedback on structure, style, and overall tone. The goal is to ensure the site feels true to your craft while still leaving room for refinement. This step keeps your voice and vision at the forefront of the design process.
Phase V: Polish Designs
With your feedback in hand, we move into a careful refinement of every detail. Each choice is thoughtfully considered, ensuring the website feels harmonious, elegant, and yours. By the end of this phase, your site is a reflection of your craft, ready to welcome your audience with beauty and clarity.
Phase VI: Launch & Tutorial
The final phase brings your project to life online. The chosen SquareSpace Subscription and Domain are added to your website. If outlined in your proposal, a time for a tutorial is scheduled so you can confidently manage and update your site moving forward. This phase marks the grand opening of your digital home — a space that reflects your craft, story, and vision with lasting impact.
