A Point of View

Bienvenue! I’m glad you’re here. A lifelong interest in historic places and the decorative arts continues to shape my perspective and has led me down a path spanning interiors, antiques, design and photography. I’m particularly drawn to craftsmanship, expressive interiors, gardens, a good glass of wine, and the small details that make a place memorable.

A love affair with France began while studying French in college and eventually led to a year spent living and working in the South of France as an antiques curator. Today, that curiosity continues to draw me throughout Europe, particularly to places where history, decorative arts and hospitality remain part of everyday life.

Through Maison de Carolyn, I bring this perspective to work across interiors, architecture and hospitality, with services spanning website design, brand storytelling, photography, and original artwork. At the heart of each is a curiosity about place and the details that give it life.

Fluent in English and French, my work and travels continue to take me across the Atlantic, and I welcome collaborations throughout the U.S. and Europe.

The Studio & Citrus Garden

Personal by design

The things we find most beautiful often carry something personal along with them. Maison de Carolyn is an homage to my grandmother, whose names I carry.

The Citrus Garden is the editorial journal of Maison de Carolyn, taking its name from the citrus my grandmother grew between her kitchen and garden. It offers a place to linger over longer stories about design, art, food, gardens, and the people who shape them.
